Lab COSMO welcomes Dr. Cesare Malosso

Cesare recently joined our group as a postdoctoral researcher. He completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Trieste, where he developed expertise in quantum Monte Carlo methods and deep neural network simulations to study the viscosity of liquid water. He then pursued a PhD at SISSA under the joint supervision of Stefano Baroni and Ali Hassanali, focusing on molecular dynamics simulations of liquids. His research explored the viscous behavior of liquid water and the liquid-liquid phase transition in supercooled water.

At COSMO, Cesare will apply machine learning and atomistic simulations to investigate the properties of aqueous solutions, leveraging his expertise in water research. We wish him all the best for this new adventure!
