Professor Alcherio Martinoli delivered a keynote talk about communication in robotic swarms at the Lakeside Labs Research Days 2019.
Alcherio Martinoli was invited to give a keynote talk at the Lakeside Labs Research Days 2019 held in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria, in July. Swarms of robots find potential applications in an increasing number of fields thanks to advances in communication, embedded computing, energy storage, sensors and actuators. This talk explores the strengths and limitations of different inter-node communication strategies in robotic swarms, drawing examples from literature and from research projects carried out at DISAL.
