Kazuhiro Morimoto receives two prizes for his doctoral thesis
The doctoral student of the Advanced Quantum Architecture Laboratory has just received two awards from the Swiss Nanotechnology and the Fritz Kutter Fonds.
The Swiss Nanotechnology and the Fritz Kutter Fonds each awarded a prize to Kazuhiro Marimoto of the School of Engineering for his doctoral thesis on microsystems and microelectronics.
Kazuhiro Marimoto's research is entitled "Megapixel SPAD Cameras for Time-Resolved Applications". This thesis focuses on multi-megapixel SPAD image sensors for time-resolved applications such as fluorescence lifetime imaging, Raman spectroscopy, and LiDAR sensing.
