Kavungal wins the Prizmatix Young Investigator Award

Deepthy Kavungal received the award at the conference Photonics West in San Francisco. The event is one of the leading international photonics conferences, organized by the international society for optics and photonics (SPIE).

She was honored for the excellence of her talk, "Deep learning augmented nanoplasmonic infrared sensor for structural protein biomarker-based detection of neurodegenerative diseases", which she presented at the symposium, "Nanoscale Imaging, Sensing, and Actuation for Biomedical Applications".
