Julien Hurni of PV-LAB wins best abstract award at SiliconPV 2026

Congratulations to Julien Hurni (EPFL PV-Lab) and his colleagues from both the EPFL PV-Lab and the CSEM Sustainability Center. Their recent submission was recognized as one of the 10 best abstracts at the SiliconPV 2026 conference in Ankara.
The work details the development of a silicon-based recombination junction for perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells, demonstrating an impressive efficiency of over 31%. It is a solid and valuable contribution to the ongoing advancement of high-efficiency photovoltaics with reduced indium consumption. Well done to the team on this well-deserved recognition!
