Prof. Marilyne Andersen gave an interview for the newspaper "Tages Anzeiger" Fokus Energie & Nachhaltigkeit, regarding CO2 footprint of existing and new buildings and the challenge to integrate sustainable construction methods to "Green Buildings".

The article, published in German under the title « Ganzheitliche Perspektiven müssen eingenommen werden » [Holistic perspectives must be taken into account] was published in October 2022 and discusses the CO2 footprint of existing and new buildings as well as the challenge to integrate sustainable approaches towards a « greener » built environment, extending to the energy efficiency of Swiss cities and to mobility questions. Marilyne Andersen, as a specialist of the psycho-physiological effects of light and as the Academic Director of the Smart Living Lab in Fribourg and leader of a Swiss-wide consortium on the energy transition supported by the SFOE named SWICE, gives her personal insights on this broad topic.
