International Workshop in the frame of SCCER-FURIES
SCCER-FURIES' partner, Prof. Dr. Petr Korba (ZHAW), organises the IV International Workshop on Dynamic Stability Challenges of the Future Power Grids (DynPower)
The implementation of the Swiss Energy Strategy 20050 (ES2050) requires the 1/3 of energy consumption to be covered by renewables by 2035. System operators are facing new challenges associated to the increase of inverter-connected devices that do not provide any inertia. TSOs need new tools for higher degree of grid monitoring in order to facilitate decision making process and power management. During the IV International Workshop on Dynamic Stability Challenges of the Future Power Grids (DynPower), held virtually on Monday, 07th of September 2020, the topics from operation, monitoring, protection and control of the future power grids will be addressed. The event brings together a panel of experts from industry and academia worldwide to present their most recent developments to overcome such energy challenges.
The event is organized by ZHAW School of Engineering, notably Prof. Petr Korba and Dr. Rafael Segundo, in the frame of the SCCER-FURIES.
Detailed program of the event is available in pdf and more information can be found directly on the DynPower website.
