International projects by partners in South Korea and Switzerland
The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and Innosuisse work together to support international innovation projects implemented by partners from South Korea and Switzerland. Research institutions and companies have the opportunity to submit funding applications in regular calls for proposals. This partnership boosts knowledge and technology transfer and makes both countries more competitive.
The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse) are happy to announce their collaboration for 2021 to fund joint innovation projects between Switzerland and South Korea.
- The call for joint innovation projects is aimed at companies and research institutions in Switzerland and South Korea (consortia) looking to carry out a joint science-based innovation project.
- Companies which identify the two countries as a major market and research locations, and which want to take advantage of the benefit of KIAT and Innosuisse funding.
- The Call is open for all topics. However, projects in following topics are particularly appreciated:
- Biotech; Medtech
- Digitalisation; Industry 4.0; IoT
- Additive Manufacturing
- Smart Materials / Innovative surfaces
- Augmented and virtual reality
This is a two-stage procedure:
- April 7, 2021: Submission deadline for Pre-proposals
- Middle of May 2021: Communication of recommendation for next step
- August 2, 2021: Submission deadline for Full-proposals
- End of October 2021: Communication of evaluation results and decision
This is an international, bilateral funding measure subject to the funding rules of KIAT and Innosuisse. Details will follow in the call documentation as soon as call has been launched on the 1st of February 2021.
