February 11 is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. On this occasion, CERN, the UNIGE Scienscope and EPFL are offering schools the opportunity to bring women scientists or engineers to talk to students about their jobs (in mixed classes).
They are invited to tell their story, unveil some mysteries of science and conduct some small experiments if they wish. The idea is to change the perception of classes towards scientific and engineering professions, by presenting female role models. And who knows, maybe to create career desires, especially among young girls.

Female students and researchers interested in participating in this day by intervening in a class in the region can contact Ms Marion Albertini, SPS collaborator, who will inform them of the conditions of participation and remuneration.
