Researchers are invited to attend an online information session on the funding opportunities avaible through the Innosuisse Innovation program.
Innosuisse supports science-based innovation projects carried out by companies, private or public institutions in cooperation with research partners. It also funds high-risk projects with a high degree of innovation by researchers who do not yet have an implementation partner. Innosuisse supports projects from all areas of research-based innovation topics.
Evaluation:
If the application is submitted at least 6 weeks before the date of the evaluation meeting and the evaluation goes smoothly, the application can be dealt with at the following meeting.
Innovation project with implementation partner: We help to fund innovation projects carried out by companies, private or public organisations in cooperation with research institutions. Innosuisse covers the research partner’s salary and, under certain conditions, material costs as well as a contribution to overheads. The company provides at least the same amount of funding and thus bears the costs for its project itself.
Innovation project without implementation partner: For researchers that have not yet found a business partner to implement their project on the market and they are convinced that their scientific findings could be implemented successfully onto the market by a company, Innosuisse supports innovation projects without an implementation partner for a maximum of 18 months (if the project is part of the federal funding programme in the field of energy, support may be provided for up to 36 months).
Programme
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the preparation of Innosuisse Innovation projects, with or without implementation partner. Information will be provided on eligibility criteria, application process, IP and usage rights and evaluation procedure.
