Chemical products: The Safety Competence Center will resume processing authorization and renewal requests to buy chemical products on Monday, 4 January.

Student Services: The Student Services desk is open for in-person services from 10am to 2pm on Monday, 21 December, Monday, 28 December, Wednesday, 23 December, and Wednesday, 30 December. It will also be reachable by email and telephone from 10am to 3pm between Monday, 21 December and Wednesday, 30 December. On Thursday, 24 December, and Thursday, 31 December, the desk will be reachable only until 12pm. The desk will be closed on Friday, 25 December, and Friday, 1 January. Normal opening times will resume on Monday, 4 January.

UNIL-EPFL sports services: LIVE classes will end on Sunday, 20 December. The Sports Center will be closed from 7pm on Wednesday, 23 December, to 8am on Monday, 4 January. It will be open for individual sports activities from 4 January to 17 January, from 8am to 7pm. The program for the semester break will run from 18 January to 21 February, with classes held in person and/or under the LIVE format, as circumstances allow. The secretariat will be closed from Thursday, 24 December to Monday, 4 January. The opening hours may change because of the public-health situation; please refer to our website for the latest information.

Energy-saving measures

Heating will be in “normal” mode throughout the holiday period. Please be aware that even the smallest actions can help us save energy. So if you'll be away, please switch off as much equipment (including computers) as possible and turn down the heating in unused premises wherever practicable. The caretakers will also do their best to ensure that these instructions are implemented.
