Increase of natural hazards: who is the cause?

Climate change and development of constructions in more exposed zones are the causes of the increase of natural hazards.

Professor Lyesse Laloui expressed his opinion on the relations cause-effect between extreme meteorological events and climate change in an interview for "l'Extension". He noticed in particular the difficulty in establishing a direct relation between a particular event and the climate change. Moreover, he highlighted a concomitant cause, that is the development of the builded environment in zones more exposed to the natural hazards.
