Imaging Technology Workshop/Demo with 3D Holotomography
The Bioengineering and Organoids Technology (BET) platform is pleased to invite you to the Agora Imaging Technology workshop, based on the presentation of a new technology of microscopy by Holotomography.
The Bioengineering and Organoids Technology (BET) platform are pleased to invite you to the Agora Imaging Technology workshop, based on the presentation of a new technology of microscopy by Holotomography.
This technology allows you to observe your cells live without toxicity. The Tomocube team will present its new XT-X1 microscope on Monday 27 March and on 28 to 31 March you will have the opportunity to test this microscope with your samples.
- For the seminar on Monday 27 march , please send your confirmation to [email protected] and specify whether you wish to come in the morning or in the afternoon.
- To participate in the demonstration (28 to 31 March) with your samples, please contact[email protected] to explain to you the procedure to follow.
For more information:
Holotomography (HT) is the most versatile label-free live cell analysis platform providing unprecedented precision of three-dimensional sub-cellular information.
The HT-X1 incorporates the high-resolution, high contrast, and high sensitivity capabilities of the Tomocube’s HT series and adapts them into a programmable multi-well plate imaging system with laser autofocus at a larger field of view.
The HT-X1 is the first ever holotomography technique to use a low-coherent light source with multiple beam patterns to obtain quantitative 3D refractive Index (RI) information thereby minimizing interference noise and eliminating the need for a calibration step for image acquisition. The motorized stage allows for tiling and multi-point analysis within each well, in addition to moving between wells. A built-in incubation system completes the live-cell imaging setup.
In addition to quantitative RI information, users can correlate holotomography images with 4 channel of correlative 3D fluorescence.
The HT-X1 is an exceptionally powerful tool for:
- Confluent & sensitive live cells (e.g., stem cell, neuronal cell, etc.)
- Monitoring of multiple samples
- Observing thicker samples (e.g.., organoid, spheroid)
- Better resolution without speckle noise
