Identifying the right sites for storing radioactive waste

The study was conducted at the Laboratory for Soil Mechanics of EPFL in the context of the PhD Thesis of Valentina Favero. The results of the research have provided significant help to advance on the site selection process for the construction of a nuclear waste repository in Switzerland.
