Hiroyuki Inamasu presented in SECED2019 conference
PhD student Hiroyuki Inamasu presented during the SECED2019 conference in UK our work on exposed column base connections for enhanced seismic life-cycle of steel structures. A copy of the paper can be found here. Co-authors of the paper were Dr. Albano Sousa and Mr. Gerard Bartirna (Swiss Re, formerly at EPFL, RESSLab).
The conference brought together experts from a broad range of disciplines, including structural engineering, nuclear engineering, seismology, geology, geotechnical engineering, urban development, social sciences, business and insurance; all focused on risk, mitigation and recovery.
