Hilti Mechatronic Prize 2019

Antoine Laurens has won the Hilti Mechatronic Prize of 2019 for his Master project entitled “Automatic Fine Tuning of Robust Controllers” in collaboration with ETEL and supervised by Dr. Alireza Karimi.
During his master project he could successfully implement a data-driven controller design method for improving the robustness and performance of high precision positioning systems. He received this prize because of the creativity, innovation and originality in the field of control of mechatronic systems.
