Harald Brune named Fellow of the APS

In its November 2011 meeting the American Physical Society (APS) bestowed the Fellowship of the Society to Prof. Harald Brune.

Prof. Harald Brune(LNS) was elected Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) "for his contributions to the understanding of nucleation, epitaxial growth, and the self-assembly of nanostructure superlattices".

APS fellowship is valued by peers as a token of outstanding contributions to physics, only half percent of members are elected APS members.
