Green Academy seminar: Food, from land to data
Sara gave a seminar on "Crop Production, Climate, and Environmental Sustainability: Challenges and Opportunities" at the 5th edition of the Green Academy seminar series
The 5th edition of the Green Academy seminar series at EPFL focused on food.With presentations by Sara Bonetti (CHANGE/EPFL), Pedro Marques-Vidal (CHUV), and Marcel Salathé (EPFL) followed by a Q&A moderated by Andy Oates (EPFL), we explored the food system from land to fork. From agriculture to social paradigms, and from health impacts to the potential of technology, the conversation highlighted just how interconnected this topic is and the need for integrated approaches to design sustainable and healthy food systems.
