Graduations and new additions at LIMNO!
As we begin a new school year LIMNO welcomes two new members and celebrates the successful PhD defenses of two members.
Dr. Mathieu Prévot successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Investigating and controlling charge carrier behavior in p-type delafossite CuFeO2 photocathodes for solar fuels production” and will be starting a SNF fellowship in the group of Prof. Omar Yaghi at UC Berkeley in October. In addition Dr. Xavier Jeanbourquin successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Engineering of supramolecular self-assembly in solution-processed organic semiconductors” and is currently on a round-the-world trip to celebrate! Congratulations Doctors! Meanwhile, Xavier Pereira Da Costa has signed on for a PhD to continue the research he started in his successful Master’s project in LIMNO and Rebekah Wells joins LIMNO for a PhD from “across-the-pond” following an degree (with distinction) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Welcome!
