Giovanni De Micheli appointed AAAS Fellow

Professor Giovanni De Micheli at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences and director of the Integrated Systems Laboratory (LSI) at the School of Engineering, has been elected as Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Professor De Micheli is already fellow of IEEE and ACM. The new recognition makes him a triple fellow which highlights his work and efforts on behalf of the advancement of science.

The AAAS seeks to "advance science, engineering, and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people." AAAS Fellows are a distinguished cadre of scientists, engineers and innovators who have been recognized for their achievements across disciplines, from research, teaching, and technology, to administration in academia, industry and government, to excellence in communicating and interpreting science to the public.
