Giancarlo Ferrari Trecate, Chair of the Swiss Chapter of the IEE CSS

Giancarlo Ferrari Trecate, head of Dependable Control and Decision group at the School of Engineering, founded the Control Systems Society Chapter of the IEEE Swiss Section and was appointed its chair.
The Control Systems Society (CSS) is one of the 39 technical societies of the IEEE. Despite the growing number of researchers, professors and students gravitating in the area of control and automation in Switzerland, a branch of the society was missing in the country. Giancarlo Ferrari Trecate therefore formed the CSS Chapter of the IEEE Swiss Section and was appointed to head it.
