The EPFL Library offers you the opportunity to test four streaming video platforms with a total of nearly 100'000 videos, whose content is particularly adapted to teaching activities and which cover many areas of study and research at EPFL.

Three of them will be accessible for one month, from May 2 to June 1, and Kanopy can be tested only from May 2 to 23. The development of distance learning courses emphasizes videos and "flipped classroom" teaching models, and your Library wishes to support this evolution of practices.

All videos from all of these platforms are available without account and can be broadcast in the classroom (only in the classroom, for educational purposes). If you want to try out the features specific to for studying and teaching activities (e.g. create a playlist or integrate a video into Moodle), you will need to create an account with an @epfl.ch address.

A quick survey (10 min) is proposed, on the one hand to know your current use of videos in your academic activities, and on the other hand to evaluate these four platforms and to let us know your needs. For those who wish to participate by leaving their address, a draw will allow three people to win a prize: a 6-month individual subscription to Filmingo. Thank you for helping us to evaluate the relevance of these four products, your feedback is essential to help us design a future collection of streaming videos at the Library!
