Form and structure: design research and teaching/learning experiences

Corentin Fivet is joining the international seminar on 'form and structure: design research and teaching/learning experiences' at the Department of Architecture and Design, Politecnico di Milano on April 12, 2019. He is presenting the latest research on 'Structural Design for Delayed Obsolescence' from the Structural Xploration Lab.

The seminar is organised by Fiammetta Venuti (DAD, Politecnico di Torino) with Alberto Pugnale (MSD, University of Melbourne) and Giuseppe Marano (DISEG, Politecnico di Torino). It aims to provide a variety of perspectives on the relationship between form and structure in architecture, through a set of talks that discuss internationally-recognised research-based design and teaching/learning activities. Presentations are delivered by five guest speakers, who have been focusing their research work on the development of new interfaces between architecture, structural design, technology, and materials.
