Join the FLP One-to-One Mentoring Program (2025-2028), an initiative designed to empower young female scientists in the ETH Domain to navigate their career paths and achieve their professional goals
We are very pleased to announce the upcoming Fix the Leaky Pipeline (FLP) one-to-one mentoring program for the period 2025–2028!
The FLP programme is run by the six institutions of the ETH Domain. It offers young female scientists the opportunity to reflect on their professional situations, to develop a strategy for embarking on a career path, to receive further targeted training, and to extend their personal and scientific networks.
The one-to-one mentoring is based on a relationship in which a more experienced person (mentor) supports a less experienced person (mentee) in developing her career. In a mentoring relationship, the mentor shares her/his experiences in academia or industry with the mentee. The goal of a mentoring relationship is to empower and support the mentee in developing her career and in addressing upcoming career steps. The duration of the FLP one-to one mentoring is one year.
Program Highlights
- Start Date: The 1st run begins in the Spring Semester 2025.
- Duration: Each mentoring cycle lasts one year.
- Eligibility: Female doctoral candidates (3rd year or above) and female postdocs affiliated with any of the six institutions of the ETH Domain during the program period.
