On Monday 13th of October 2014, Anastasios Kyrillidis, first PhD student at LIONS lab, successfully defended his PhD thesis. The thesis, entitled “Rigorous optimisation recipes for sparse and low rank inverse problems with applications in data sciences”, was supervised by Prof. Volkan Cevher.
On Monday 13th of October 2014, Anastasios Kyrillidis, first PhD student at LIONS lab, successfully defended his PhD thesis. The thesis, entitled “Rigorous optimisation recipes for sparse and low rank inverse problems with applications in data sciences”, was supervised by Prof. Volkan Cevher. It proposes a series of efficient, provably convergent and scalable algorithms for inverse problems in diverse research areas.
Anastasios lands a PostDoc position at the University of Texas at Austin/USA as of this fall. Congratulations Tasos!
