FIRST LEGO League Semi Final for Switzerland

The FIRST LEAGO League Semi Final for Switzerland was held at EPFL on Saturday 13 February 2016.
The three best teams of the Swiss Regional Competition (Brugg-Windisch, Chur, Lausanne, Ticino and Yverdon) were present for the Semi Final where they were challenged on Robot Games and evaluated on their Robot Design, Team Spirit, and Research Project. In line with the year's scientific topic, Trash Trek, they explored the fascinating world of trash, did their research on it and presented sketches, posters, songs....
At the Robot Game, the robots had 2½ minutes to complete their mission on a playing field.
The Mindfactory from Brugg-Windish won the Swiss Semi Final, the Electronic Machines Schiers from Chur were second and the Progy-Robos from Yverdon third on the podium.
The teams from the Lausanne Region were not that bad and we congratulate them for their results, nameley for the Robot Games and Research Projects (Tobor SAPiens, 2nd).
