Filippo Miele joins CHANGE!
As a Postdoc in the lab, Filippo will work on a new project focusing on carbon removal in wetland restoration!
Filippo obtained his BSc and MSc in Physics from University of Florence (Italy) and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from University of Lausanne, with a thesis titled "Filtration by Heterogenous Porous Material". After his PhD, he worked as a postdoc both at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at University of California, Davis (CA, USA) and the Laboratory of Ecohydrology at EPFL. As a joint postdoc at CHANGE and SOIL, Filipp will work on a new project focusing on the quantification of carbon removal potential in wetland restoration (see the project webpage for more info).
