SOIL has a new postdoctoral researcher: Filippo Miele. Welcome!
Filippo Miele joined SOIL in October as a joint postdoc with the CHANGE lab. Filippo will work on a modelling project to assess the impact of wetland restoration effects on their carbon sequestration potential. Prior to this position, he worked as a postdoc both at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of California, Davis (CA, USA) and the the Laboratory of Ecohydrology at EPFL. Filippo obtained his PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Lausanne, with a thesis titled "Filtration by Heterogenous Porous Material" and holds both a BSc and MSc in Physics from the University of Florence (Italy).
