Faculty position for a previous PhD Student of Prof. Ralf Seifert

Dr. Florian Lücker has been hired by Cass Business School, City, University of London (UK) as Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management. His appointment will start in January 2018 and he will predominantly carry out research in the area of supply chain management.
Dr. Florian Lücker joined Prof. Ralf Seifert's team in 2012 as a PhD Student, and defended his dissertation entitled "Supply Chain Disruption Risk Management: Modeling Risk Mitigation Strategies" in December 2016. Part of his dissertation research at EPFL was sponsored by Hoffmann-La Roche to examine challenges in the pharmaceutical supply chain and model benefits related to supply chain risk management. Following his PhD he stayed on as a post-doc at the chair of Technology and Operations Management. In addition, he has spent a year as a Visiting Scholar at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Florian Lücker’s research has received funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
