The third public event of the s’EPanouir–Flourish initiative, where the Draft Feasibility Report was briefly presented and discussed, marked the conclusion of the first phase of the development of EPFL’s educational programmes.

The third public event of the s’EPanouir-FLourish initiative marked the conclusion of the first phase of the bachelor’s program reform process, which was dedicated to assessing the current situation and brainstorming, exploring and designing proposals for the new EPFL programs.

The purpose of this latest public session was to review the preliminary feasibility report, prepared in March by the working groups following the work that began last October.

This document outlines the main pillars, features and possibilities for the future of our programs with the aim to inform the co-design work to be undertaken within the sections starting in the fall semester. It is currently being reviewed by faculty, students, and the sections themselves.

To involve the school community in its broadest sense, a publicly available form open until mid-June allows EPFL students, teachers and staff to share their views on six themes identified as central to the planned change process.

During the 27th of April’s meeting, participants had the opportunity to engage in small-group discussions and exchange views and ask questions directly to the Associate Vice President for Education, Nicolas Grandjean, as well as the chairs of the working groups.

The form to provide feedback on the feasibility report - open to all the community - is open until June 15 here. You can access it here: https://www.epfl.ch/education/educational-initiatives/sepanouir-flourish_en/timeline/

The next public meeting will take place in the fall semester.
