EUDAT & Research Data Management Summer School
EUDAT is organising from 3-7 July 2017 a Research Data Management Summer School in Heraklion, Greece, targeting primarily early-career researchers from any disciplinary community.
This is an opportunity for master students, PhD and post-docs to get an introduction to the principles and tools needed for careers in data science and data management.
A wide range of topics will be covered during the school. Starting with the basics, like the Research Data Lifecycle, the definition of Data Management Plan, and the FAIR Data concept, the attendees will then have the opportunity to discover the EUDAT data services, as well as the European e-Infrastructure landscape. They will actively explore these services and how they can be used throughout the Data Lifecycle.
The deadline for application is Monday April 17th 2017.
Detailed information (detailed programme, application, evaluation criteria, scholarships …) are available here on the EUDAT website: https://www.eudat.eu/eudat-summer-school
