PhD students and postdocs at EPFL are invited to participate in the ETH Research Data Management (RDM) Summer School 2026, a training program open to the entire ETH Domain.

The summer school provides practical guidance on good research data management, covering topics such as data organization, documentation, sharing, and long-term preservation. It is particularly relevant for doctoral candidates, postdocs, and members of research groups working closely with data stewards.

ECTS credits

Doctoral candidates can obtain 2 ECTS for participation. Please note that the recognition of ECTS credits is the responsibility of each EPFL doctoral program. EPFL doctoral candidates must therefore check in advance with their doctoral program whether these credits will be recognized.

When and where?

The ETH Research Data Management Summer School 2026 takes place from 1 to 5 June 2026 at ETH Zurich Zentrum campus.

Participation fee

CHF 290

The participation fee covers all activities, sessions and workshops as well as catering during the Summer School.
