Our paper on the use of quantitative HSQC-NMR for the prediction of lignin’s monomeric yield after depolymerization has been published in Chemical Science! Masoud, Stefania and Ydna demonstrated that by using HSQC0 on different isolated lignins and synthetic model compounds, it is possible to quantify the ether bond content of these samples, and to consequently predict with unprecedent accuracy the yields of aromatic monomers obtainable after hydrogenolysis.
