ESO at the Swiss LiDAR Day 2026

ESO members present research on image–LiDAR fusion at the Swiss LiDAR Day in Morges
We are pleased to announce that the laboratory will take part in the Swiss LiDAR Day on 10 November 2026 at the Théâtre de Beausobre (Le CUBE) in Morges. The event is co-organised by ASIT and SITN and supported by EPFL. It brings together public administrations, companies and academic researchers working with LiDAR and its applications.
In the afternoon session "Use cases & research", Aurélien Brun will explain how correspondences between images and LiDAR point clouds can be extracted automatically, and how they improve both multi-sensor fusion and point cloud colorisation. The laboratory will also present three posters prepared by Laurent Jospin (posdoc) and two PhD students Antoine Carraud, Jesse La Haye. Come and meet us!
