Dr. Anastasios P. Vassilopoulos and Ms Aida Cameselle Molares attended the 8th International Conference on Fracture of Polymers, Composites and Adhesives, between 10-14 September 2017 in Les Diablerets, Switzerland (http://www.esistc4conference.com/).
Ms. Aida Cameselle Molares presented the innovative experimental work on the 2-dimensional fracture of composite laminates, performed in the frame of the NSF funded research project “Progressive fatigue damage modeling of fiber-reinforced polymer structural assemblies” (NSF Project 200021_156647).
Dr. Anastasios P. Vassilopoulos (member of the conference committee) chaired a session on the numerical simulation of the fracture behavior of polymers, composites and adhesives and participated in the activities of the ESIS/TC4 committee (https://www.structuralintegrity.eu/tc04)
