When summer comes, the great outdoors beckons. In early July, the Chaplaincy brought a group of local and international students and researchers together for a weekend at Lac Taney.
In addition to getting acquainted, they were able to let off some steam after the exams, get out of the lab, connect with nature, and make new friends and catch up with old ones. On Sunday morning, some members of the group attended Mass in a small chapel near the chalet.
The Chaplaincy is now planning a bike trip around Lake Geneva from 4 to 7 September. This excursion will feature three nights of camping, the opportunity to discuss texts or topics proposed by participants and a healthy dose of relaxation on the lakeshore after the day’s bike ride. EPFL staff members are also welcome! For more information and to sign up: https://goo.gl/forms/Df7CKVWY3FUnWvOw1
These events offer participants a chance to get to know each other in a multicultural setting while at the same time soaking up nature and enriching their spiritual life.
