EPFL School of Engineering has risen to the top ten in the world

According to the most recent 2024 QS rankings, the EPFL School of Engineering has risen to the top 10 worldwide. This is consistent with the school's progress in recent years, as its ranking has risen from #12 to #11, and it has now reached #10.
Two engineering institutes are listed in the top ten globally and are among the highest ranked on campus (together with Chemistry). The Institute of Materials (IMX) is ranked #10, and the Institute of Electrical and Micro Engineering (IEM) is ranked #7. IEM is today the highest ranked institute at EPFL. Of course, rankings are not science and can fluctuate, but they provide a general indication.
