EPFL PhD Excellence Programme - Call for applications

To prepare doctoral students for their future, not only as first-class scientists, but also as engaged and active members of society and leaders of tomorrow.
The EPFL PhD Excellence programme is part of the Student Support Programme (SSP) and is funded by philanthropic donors.
This programme is aimed at doctoral students interested in pursuing a career in a non-academic sector after their studies may this be in industry, NGOs or other types of institutions.
It will complement their current doctoral studies with a dedicated training inleadership, effective communication, transferable skills, and offer a unique opportunity to connect with non-academic leaders and to build a network of contacts with industry and institutions.
The duration of the programme is 3 years per cohort. Funding is in place for three cohorts of 45 doctoral students, who have passed their candidacy exam by the time the programme starts.
The deadline for application submission for the first call is 28 February 2022 at 17:00h Swiss local time.
Complete applications must be submitted by doctoral students in electronic format via the dedicated Google Formby the submission deadline.
