EPFL maintains its place among Switzerland's top employers 2024

EPFL remains in a very good position in the ranking of the best employers in 2024, according to a survey of 15,000 people in Switzerland carried out by PME Magazine in collaboration with the "Handelszeitung" and Statista R.The analysis it takes into account a number of factors related to the attractiveness of the workplace, such as working conditions and facilities, work-life balance and career development.

Despite a variation in the overall ranking, EPFL maintains a leading position in the field of education and research, as second in the ranking. This performance is testament to its ongoing commitment to its employees and its excellence in promoting a supportive working environment.

Various initiatives, such as the EPFL without Barriers project, which aims to improve the School's ability to welcome its entire community in the best possible conditions, or the availability of the Trust Point tool via the EPFL application which provides easy access to all Network of Trust services, continue to reinforce EPFL's commitment to the well-being of its staff. In addition, the institution regularly conducts surveys, such as the satisfaction survey launched in 2023, in order to gather feedback from staff members and to be able to take corrective measures to further improve working conditions.

With this in mind, EPFL is continuing its efforts to promote equal opportunities and the professional development of its staff, while remaining attentive to their needs and encouraging open and constructive dialogue.
