EPFL life scientist awarded Ambizione grant
Dr Christina Ernst at EPFL’s School of Life Sciences has been awarded an Ambizione grant for research in Molecular Biology.
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) aims its Ambizione grants to “young researchers who wish to conduct, manage and lead an independent project at a Swiss higher education institution.” The grants cover salaries and funding necessary for the awarded research project for a maximum of four years.
This year, Dr Christina Ernst at EPFL’s School of Life Sciences has been awarded an Ambizione grant in the discipline of Molecular Biology. The grant will enable Dr Ernst to pursue independent research on host-viral RNA interactions of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The awarded project is titled: “RNA-protein interactions at the host-viral interface of SARS-CoV-2 infections.”
