EPFL alumnus Horst Hippler is the new president of the HRK
Prof. Dr. Horst Hippler, a physicist and EPFL doctor of technical sciences (1974) of our former Department of Chemistry was elected President of the German Rectors' Conference - Hochschulrektorenkonferenz (HRK).
Professor Hippler also sits on several boards of Directors of several universities and co-chairs the "Karlsruhe Institute of Technology" (KIT), an institution firmly integrated in networks of European universities, such as the "European Confederation of Upper-Rhine Universities" (EUCOR) and the "Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research" (CLUSTER) of which EPFL is also member.
