Enerdrape, a spin-off of the Laloui Research Group (LMS), co-founded by Margaux Peltier, Prof. Lyesse Laloui and Dr. Alessandro Rotta Loria, was picked by The Startup Pill as one of the 101 best startups active in the Renewable Energy sector. Growing startups that are worth following were identified based on their innovative ideas or exceptional growth.

From solar power generation, storage facilties, clean mobility or AI for energy efficiency, Enerdrape positions itself as one of the very few startups tackling the problem of renewable thermal energy. With 50% of Europe's final energy consumption used for the heating and cooling needs of building, and still 75% of it generated from fossil fuels, the energy transition of the building sector is playing a key role in the decarbonization of our society. Enerdrape's innovative panels, enable to capture renewable heat from existing underground environments, boosting the energy transition of existing buildings and constructions that are today struggling to renovate their energy systems and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

Among 101 startups, 28 Europe-based startups were idenfified. With a total of 5 swiss startups selected, Switzerland is highlighting again its innovative ecosystem!
