Last week, the young LMS spin-off Enerdrape convinced the Venture Kick expert jury and receives 10’000 CHF to support its development.

Enerdrape, co-founded by Margaux Peltier, Prof. Lyesse Laloui and Dr. Alessandro Rotta Loria, develops a panel-like technology that collect geothermal and waste thermal energy in existing underground environments, providing an alternative renewable heating and cooling solution for buildings. This modular technology fixed to plain surfaces such as underground parking walls or ceilings aims to add a new dimension to the renewable energy market, turning existing underground environments into source of energy. Venture Kick support will be used to establish first contact and partnerships for the industrialisation of the prototypes and accompany the future plan of operation.

Venture Kick is a philanthropic initiative that provide seed funding as well as support and trainings to Swiss startups. Startups pitch in front of expert juries at three stages to obtain funding, direct feedback and access to an international network of successful entrepreneurs and investors.
