Enerdrape awarded from Switzerland Innovation Tech4Impact

As part of the six award-winning projects, Margaux Peltier and Enerdrape, Laloui's Research Group (LMS) spin-off, are granted a CHF 85'000 CHF grant to boost its product development.

Almost 100 projects responded to the first call for proposals launched by Switzerland Innovation together with partners from Swiss economy and EPFL Tech4Impact. A call aiming to foster innovations that can help meet the Sustainable Development goals of the UN Agenda 2030.

This call aims to give a considerable boost to innovative solutions addressing six highlighted UN Sustainable Development Goals, foster their market entry or consolidate their further development. The award-winning project teams will receive a CHF 85'000 grant, subsidies that are financed by the following innovation partners: ABB, Credit Suisse, Die Mobiliar, economiesuisse, Interpharma, Schindler, Swiss Re Foundation, Swisscom, UBS and Zurich Insurance.

Enerdrape who’s addressing three UN Sustainable Development Goals out of the six highlighted by the call convinced the jury with its panel-like technology that allows to capture renewable heat from existing underground environments. The grant will contribute to the extend the team and boost the product development and develop a full-scale MVP of the technology.
