Dr Kelvin Lau, staff scientist at the Protein Production and Structure Core Facility (PTPSP), has been invited as a protein expert to participate in a four‑day teaching programme organized by EMBL.

During the course, which will combine lectures and practical sessions, experts from academia and industry will present key technologies used in protein quality control. Several of these methods, including Mass Photometry (MP), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), and Differential Scanning Fluorimetry (DSF) - all available at PTPSP - can be used both to assess protein quality and as independent biophysical characterisation techniques.
