Elison Matioli at TEDx Arendal: Can materials mimic the human body?
Elison Matioli, head of the POWERlab in the School of Engineering, delivered a TEDx talk on his research at TEDx Arendal in November, 2022. The video of his talk on new and efficient semiconductor device concepts has recently been published on the TEDx website.
Research in the Power and Wide-band-gap Electronics Research lab (POWERlab) focuses on the development of new semiconductor device concepts for more efficient use of energy and less heat generation in electronics. These devices are becoming ubiquitous in our modern world, from the ever-increasing dependence on data centers to the electrification of our society.
Watch Prof. Matioli present his lab's nanoscale solutions using materials that "behave like nature" to solve some of the major challenges we are facing today.
The talk featured in this video was given at the independently organized TEDx Arendal in November, 2022.
