ECEO master students awarded three prizes

Three young engineers graduating with a thesis from ECEO were recognized with awards at the EPFL awards ceremony and at a Swisstopo event!
Three ECEO master students of the 2022-2023 promotion were recognized with awards :
- Nicola Santacroce was awarded the IGSO prize 2023 for his thesis extracting habitat information in the Swiss Alps from Wikipedia
- Selène Ledain was awarded the CSD prize 2023 for her thesis about the detection of droughts from space (co-supervised by IBM and Universität Bern)
- Pierre Creusot was awarded the SwisstopoEDU award 2023 for his thesis about detecting changes along train tracks with very high resolution aerial images
