Dr. Yongpeng Liu defends his thesis !

Dr. Yongpeng Liu has obtained the degree of docteur ès sciences from the EPFL for his thesis entitled "Novel Interfacial Characterization and Surface Engineering in Semiconductor Electrodes for Optimized Solar Fuel Production" Congratulations Dr. Liu !
Dr. Liu's thesis work was supervised by Dr. Néstor Guijarro (now the Ramón y Cajal Research Professor & ERC StG fellow at the University of Alicante) and supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) under the Ambizione Energy grant (PZENP2_166871). Dr. Liu's PhD research led to an outstanding eight first author papers and seven presentation awards. Dr. Liu will continue academic research in Prof. Erwin Reisner's lab on a SNSF posdoc.mobility grant. LIMNO wishes Dr. Liu great success in his future career!
