Dr. Yang appointed as a Youth Editor of Building Simulation Journal
Dr. Shen Yang from HOBEL is selected as a Youth Editorial Member of Building Simulation Journal. This Journal publishes original and high quality research papers and review articles regarding modeling and simulation to promote the field of building science and technology. The journal received an Impactor Factor of 3.751 in 2020.
Dr. Shen Yang in HOBEL group is now officially appointed as a Youth Editorial Board Member of Building Simulation journal. He joined HOBEL in December 2018 as a postdoc scientist after receiving his PhD in Building Science and Technology from Tsinghua University, China in July 2018. In HOBEL, he is currently working on experimental and numerical investigations of aerosol particle emissions from humans, and integration of indoor air quality prediction into healthy building design.
Building Simulation: An International Journal publishes original, high quality, peer-reviewed research papers and review articles dealing with modeling and simulation of buildings including their systems. The goal is to promote the field of building science and technology to such a level that modeling will eventually be used in every aspect of building construction as a routine instead of an exception. Of particular interest are papers that reflect recent developments and applications of modeling tools and their impact on advances of building science and technology. The journal is indexed by more than 20 citation databases, including Science Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch), SCOPUS, Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition, etc., and received an Impactor Factor of 3.751 in 2020.
The Youth Editorial Board Members are selected globally based on their engagement in building simulation research, academic achievements, career plan, and the passion to serve for the community. The Youth Editor is expected to contribute to the journal in terms of organizing manuscripts, peer review, publicity of the journal and academic activities, with the probability to promote to an Editorial Board Member.
