Dr. Visentin part of the winning team of the Intl Create Challenge

The International Create Challenge 2016 awarded Dr. Fabiana Visentin and her 2 team members the first prize of the competition for their business & technology project
On Tuesday, September 20th, the International Create Challenge competition (ICC 2016), which targets the creation of new startups in the field of Human & Media Computing, announced its results after 3 weeks of massive training of participants on business development and networking. Viprodev team (Kadir Akin, Luciano Torres and Fabiana Visentin) won the competition with their business idea and the technology, developed in the Microelectronic Systems Laboratory (LSM) in EPFL.
Viprodev offers a breakthrough technology capable of recognizing the world around us, allowing the understanding of objects, humans and their behaviors in different environments, by processing 3D imaging in high definition and real-time with a compact, patented and all-in-one system.
